Easy Banana Bread

This is a delicious and easy banana bread recipe passed down through our family.

 

1/2 Cup Shortening

1 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

3 Ripe Bananas

1 Teaspoon Baking soda

2 Cups Flour

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

2 Tablespoons Milk

A Dash Of Vinegar

 

Beat the eggs in a bowl and set aside. Mash the bananas and mix in with teh beaten eggs.

 

Cream the shortening and sugar together and beat well.

 

Mix the creamed suger and shortening in with the eggs and banana mixture.

 

Sift the flour, salt and baking soda together, add milk and small dash of vinegar.

 

Combine all ingedients and beat until mixture is smooth.

 

Bake in a greased pan at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Banana Bread should be brown on top and a skewer should come out clean when poked into the cooked bread.

 

Cool and serve sliced.
